We got DJ a few pairs of good BSA hiking socks, a new mess kit, and a
number of small things for his uniform.
As an idea, he doesn't have the Boy Scout Fieldbook, and that would be
helpful and interesting. Available on Amazon, or, more immediately, at
the Scout Store at 807 Kinnear Rd. If you're really stuck, that's a
fun place to visit and look around.
